I am a Ph.D. candidate at SIOTLAB, Santa Clara University advised by Dr. Behnam Dezfouli.
- My main research interests are:
- Internet of Things (IoT), wireless technologies, standards and protocols (802.15.4, 802.11, LTE)
- Machine learning and Deep neural networks
- Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Software Defined Wireless Networks
- Power saving mechanisms in 802.11 protocols
- Embedded Systems and Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Prior to joining SIOTLAB in 2017:
- I was working with Hewlett-Packard, California for a total of 3 years, initially as a Research Intern and then as a Software Engineer
- In 2015, I received my masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Santa Clara University, California
- In 2013, I completed my undergraduate education in Computer Engineering from India
-
I have been involved in mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students at SIOTLAB. Teaching assistantship experience of over 3 years to build strong foundations in data structures, programming, and algorithms. I have also been an active reviewer for premier communication conferences and journals.
- I strongly believe in purposeful research that has practical application and involves effectual engineering. Therefore, the primary focus of my thesis is building intelligent networks for residential, enterprise and automated industrial IoT ecosystems
